2018 Farm Bill

Introduced in House (04/12/2018) This bill legalizes industrial hemp that has a tetrahydrocannabinol (THC, the psychoactive component of marijuana) concentration of no more than 0.3% by removing it from schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act.

THCA vs THC

THC and THCA, two compounds found in cannabis plants, have distinct properties. THC is a psychoactive compound responsible for the euphoric effects of marijuana, while THCA is non-psychoactive and needs to be converted into THC to produce these effects.
